Who is the Solar Alliance?
Solar Alliance is a collaboration between Clean Energy for Eternity – Northern Beaches (CEFE NB) and Zero Emissions Sydney North (ZESN)
We bring together community volunteers, local businesses, local media and local government, all seeking to make Powerhouse Brookvale a reality
Powerhouse Brookvale
How it works
Solar Champions
Solar Champions are local businesses who have already installed solar, offering their experience to help others. Solar Champions are leaders, modelling how to align business values with a new generation of ethical consumers, and communicating their enthusiasm for new technology and its role in business. Are you a champion?
Solar Ambassadors
Solar Ambassadors are volunteers trained to facilitate solar installations from feasibility to quote to financing, installation and celebration. Many of our ambassadors are retired engineers. They are passionate about sustainability and excited by the potential of renewable energy. Is this you?
Roof Partners
Roof Partners — AKA ‘naked roofs’ — are businesses without solar panels on their roof who are interested in finding out how solar could work for them. Is that you? No commitment required, just a coffee with one of our ambassadors or a phone call with one of our champions. We’ll take it from there. Try us.

4 Pines Brewing
“We wanted to bring our community along on our renewable energy journey, so we made our on-site 100KW solar community-funded with the help of Pingala and ClearSky Solar Investment.”
Lifestyle Working
“There’s been a shift in community expectations and business demands towards sustainable buildings.”
